Possibly the most Recognizable and most desirable of the big block Camaros is the 1969 Yenko 427. Racer and world-renowned Chevrolet performance dealer Don Yenko sold these iconic machines, which followed his famous plan to take an assembly-line Camaro and order with COPO 9561, a special performance package including a L72 427/425hp engine, special ducted hood, dual exhaust system, increased cooling capacity and special suspension. Yenko Camaros also received COPO 9737 Sports Car Conversion, which included a 140 mph speedometer, larger diameter 13/16 front stabilizer bar and 15 x 7 Rally wheels with E70 raised white lettered tires. Most Yenko cars were either Trim code X11 or X44 cars (this car being an X44 car according to its Body Trim Tag). These were base model cars ordered through the COPO program to have high performance options and have no badging to decipher what trim level they were. This Camaro Was delivered new to Vito Rinaldi Chevrolet In Shenandoah PA (the same state as Don Yenko Chevrolet) This 1969 Camaro is the recipient of a Complete professional nut and Bolt body off restoration with high attention to detail. The exterior is Finished in striking Code 76 Daytona Yellow basecoat clearcoat paint with Black Yenko sYc decals, D80 Front and rear Spoilers and a Factory Style Cowl Induction Hood. Front high rise bucket headrest seats, a Hurst Shifter with the classic white pool ball Shift Knob, AM/FM radio and a 140 MPH Speedometer finish off the appearance of this gorgeous Camaro. The Chassis Of this Camaro is simply a work of art. The floor boards are finished in body color and cut and buffed to a show car finish.
