This Jerry MacNeish Certified 1969 Camaro Z/28 Retains it’s complete factory installed driveline including its original Engine and stamping, Muncie M20 Transmission with VIN stamping and 3:73 Posi traction BU code 12 bolt rear differential. MacNeish also certifies that the trim tag on this Z/28 is also real and authentic. Finished in Hugger Orange with White Z/28 stripes and black vinyl interior as it left the factory. This Z/28 was the recipient of a rotisserie restoration completed in February of 2026. This Z/28 retains all of its factory installed body panels! The vehicle was completely disassembled, and the body was placed on a rotisserie for reconditioning all body panels were aligned to a better than factory fitment and a basecoat clearcoat finish was applied and cut and polished to a show car finish. The floors were finished in GM restoration frame paint for an authentic sheen to replicate the factory appearance as close as possible. The floors also show a mist of hugger orange as a factory installed paint job would. The floor plugs were installed with the correct beige seam sealer as they were from new. The subframe was completely disassembled and painted in the correct semi-gloss black. All Chassis Components have been completely disassembled cleaned, glass beaded and finished in their correct factory finish. The Front control arms are finished in 30% Gloss Black while the front springs sport a natural steel finish and the shocks are finished in grey phosphate. All Steering Components are also finished in natural steel finish. The rear differential is finished in 60% gloss Black finish. The engine is this cars FACTORY
INSTALLED ORIGNAL ENGINE the engine pad reads 19N517173 ( This Cars Vin Derivative) VI002DZ (V=Flint Plant 10=October 02=2nd day of the month DZ= Engine Suffix for Z/28, The engine Casting Date in M27 and casting number of 3932386. The Transmission is the original Muncie M20 with a case #660 with the vin stamped on the side of the main case. The read Differential is it’s original 12 Bolt 3:73 Posi traction Unit with A casting Date of #860NF and an assembly Date of BU1102G1 (BU=3:73 Posi-traction 11= November 02= 2nd day of the month G= Gear and axle plant 1= First Shift. All other component are the correct part number and casting date to align with this car. The Starter is a #1108367 Dated 8J16, The Alternator is a #1100837 Dated 8J25, The bellhousing is a #3858403, The Carburetor is a Holley #4053, The intake manifold is a #3932472, The cylinder heads are both #3927186 The right side is dated L 19 8, The Left side is dated I14 8, The Distributor is a #1111480 and the Voltage Regulator is a correct #519 unit. The Engine has been completely professionally rebuilt with the correct famous 30-30 camshaft and it’s original #3941178 Crankshaft. The engine Block was cleaned and shot peened and Magnaflux treated before it was assembled with precision by Dan Bedell of Bedell Racing Engines one of the premier high performance and racing engine builders in the Northeast. The Transmission was completely disassembled and rebuilt and resealed with US made in America parts. The rear Differential was completely disassembled and inspected. All necessary parts were replaced as well as completely resealed with new seals. The ring and pinion are the original GM units in incredible condition. All New brake lines and fuel Lines were installed with factory armor and correct colored fittings. The Trunk is finished in the correct splatter paint and the spare is a correct AD Code rally wheel (only used in early production 1969 z/28’s). The interior was completely restored in Black vinyl with all new carpets, seat covers and headliner. The Factory hurst shifter was completely restored with all components plated in the original color. To find an expertly restored Hugger Orange Z/28 in this Concourse condition with its complete original driveline and Tags certified by Jerry MacNeish is like finding a Needle in a hay stack.
