***Cantrell built nothing but station wagon bodies during a long and successful period from the mid-teens until well after World War II and were known for the quality of their craftsmanship, their cost-effective batch construction techniques and their insistence upon building not only the wooden body work but also the interior seats to their high standards.
Cantrell offered two versions of the Suburban, the (semi-sedan) and the (convertible Sedan). This one is the semi-sedan with drop windows in the front doors and open sides with side curtains — glass was another $25 Also, a pair of aisle seats can be had at an additional cost of $25.00
Cantrell concentrated on the production of bodies for ½, ¾ and one-ton chassis from Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford, GMC and Studebaker of which a handful still exist.
